Charlotte, NC –February 20, 2019 – The TrüNorth Warranty™ custom chopper, designed by Paul Teutul, Jr. of Paul Jr. Designs, made its television debut last night on the Discovery Channel’s popular show, American Chopper, now in its 12th season. TrüNorth Warranty™, the leader in medium and heavy-duty truck protection, commissioned the Paul Jr. Designs custom chopper, which was unveiled at the annual UTA (Used Truck Association) Convention in Orlando, FL in November 2018, and taped for last night’s Season 12, Episode 2 of American Chopper.
The custom bike represents the first of three collaborations to-date between TrüNorth and Paul Jr. Designs.Paul Jr. designed the paint job for the #45 truck in association with our NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series program, which was unveiled at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, NC on January 18, 2019. Driver Ross Chastain of Niece Motorsports skillfully secured a third-place finish for the TrüNorth Paul Jr. Designs truck in its debut race in the NextEra Energy 250 on February 15th at Daytona International Speedway.
In addition, TrüNorth recently commissioned a second Paul Jr. Designs custom chopper in association with the launch of their new MyTruckWarrranty.com brand. The company plans to take both choppers on tour to client dealerships throughout the year. The unveiling of the MyTruckWarrranty.com custom bike and the NASCAR truck paint job will air on an upcoming episode of American Chopper in March 2019.
